Richard Evans is an award-winning musician, with further credits as a writer and filmmaker.
His critically acclaimed album Sentinel (2022) is an electro-pop collection of eight original songs that mix analogue synths and sequences with melodic hooks and drum machine rhythms. The album and live show are a message of hope in the era of climate change.
The Dream Of The World EP followed in 2023 to further critical acclaim and global airplay.
His second solo album, Quantum, is released in 2025 with nine songs exploring the impact of artificial intelligence.
Richard creates large-scale live shows that combine spectacular visuals, lighting effects and electronic music, for both indoor and outdoor productions that have been performed at festivals and venues throughout the UK.
Richard began his music career as guitarist and songwriter for St Vitus Dancers (co-writing The Survivor on Bullshit Detector 2, Crass Records, 1982), later appearing as keyboardist for James (Are You Ready? on Strip Mine, Sire Records, 1988).
His other creative projects are short stories (including Touch Sensitive, Serpent's Tail and Girl Absorbed, Litro Magazine); a novel (Kosmonaut Zero, Dead Ink, 2012); and a web series & immersive theatre project (Aeon, Cold Star Media, 2016), all supported by Arts Council England.
